The potentially heart wrenching lineup in Dambe Warriors League Super Fight O2 is complete after regular season 02 ended in Kaduna State.

Ready for SuperFight 02

Three elite fights from top two Warriors in each of the three weight classes are expected to ignite the sand pit when the Super Fight 02 comes alive on 3 March 2024 at the Muri Okunola Parki n Lagos.

Yar Mage and Zayyanu will collide in the lightweight division while Ramadan squares off against Shaaban in the middle weight category.

The eagerly anticipated heavyweight Super Fight rematch between top dogs Dogo Maitakwasara and Ali Kanin Bello has got fire written all over the matchup after both fighters clashed in Kaduna.

In a review of Circuit Fight 10 in Kaduna that culminated in the impending Super contests, event organizers and warriors were amazed at the turnout at their new destination and are already excited to come back to the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.

The showpiece featured Knockouts, Disqualifications, and the first “Extra Time” in the history of Dambe Warriors League.

ZAYYANU regained his winning form in the lightweight class with defeat of AUTAN ALI KANIN BELLO, winning all three rounds, 89-80.

CHINDO narrowly emerged victorious over challenger KUDAWA in a fight that went the distance by score of 88-86.

But, the fight of the division goes to the undefeated YAR MAGE, who delivered a punishing knockout on Season 1 hero SISCO.

With the victories, YAR MAGE and ZAYYANU are set to square off in Lagos at SuperFight 02 in a match that is sure to have everyone on the edge of their seats. 

With the losses, SISCO and BELLO have been eliminated from the League.

For the Middleweights, ZAZU continued his winning streak with a convincing  victory over veteran DAN NIGERIA by a score of 89-85.

Newcomer SHAABAN thoroughly dominated ONDO by a score of 60-54 before the latter was disqualified due to an illegal strike below the belt.

Possibly, the fight of the night though went to RAMADAN and BAHAGON DOGO MAITASKWASARA.

RAMADAN narrowly defeated BDM by one point in the first ever fight that went to extra time, 114-113.

This victory sets up the Season 2 Middleweight championship fight between RAMADAN and Shaaban.

Meanwhile, BDM and ONDO have been relegated from the top tier of the League.

The Heavyweights treated the Kaduna crowd to three epic showdowns.

Season 02 newcomer SANI clubbed DAGE into submission with a vicious knockout, and DUTSE bested the always dangerous SHAMSU by a narrow 87-84 victory.

In the most anticipated fight of the night, DOGO MAITAKWASARA shocked the world and took out undefeated ALI KANIN BELLO by a score of 87-84, setting up a rematch between these two titans in Lagos.

Unfortunately, it is DAGE and SANI who finished the season ranked #5 and #6 and have been eliminated from the League.
