Dambe Warriors League Circuit Fight O7 Delivers Dynamite in Minna

Newly promoted warrior Shaaban sent shockwaves that rocked the foundation of the UK Arts Theatre in Minna where he crafted a 3rd round knockout of Manu Garkuwan Chindo in the Dambe Warriors League DWL Circuit Fight 07.

Fight fans were left awestruck at the level of professionalism and energy at the event as the Season 02 of the DWL series landed for the 1st time in Niger State.

Shaaban’s impressive win became a major talking point because of the way he dismantled his more fancied opponent.

In another middleweight battle, Ramadan remained undefeated for the season (2 wins, 0 losses) and for his career (8 wins, 0 losses) with a convincing victory over fading legend Dan Nigeria.

Elsewhere, Zayyanu continued his absolute dominance of the Lightweights with a brutal knockout of Sisco, while newcomer Yar Mage proved he is here to make a name for himself in the DWL by knocking off Chindo in a three-round thriller.

The Heavyweight division is shaping up to be a nail-biter.

Ali Kanin Bello and Dogon Shamsu both remain undefeated for the season and are starting to distance themselves from the pack.

Dogo Maitakwasara, the SuperFight champion of Season 01, returned to the winner’s circle with a hard fought victory over Garkuwan Dutse by a score of 88 to 82.

18 warriors participated in 9 fights across three weight divisions.

Each fight comprised of three timed rounds lasting two minutes.

In anticipation of the next blockbuster, the sponsors of Dambe Warriors League Season 02 (Bet9ja, Hero Bikes, Infinite Drinks, Indomie, Hype, Power Oil, Colgate, Pop Cola, Amstel Malta, Aiico) and their strategic partners (MTN, Trace, FilmHouse, and Cloud 9 Sports) have already swung into preparatory action for Circuit Fight 08 on January 21st in Abuja.
